I’ve looked into doing mine - same style that you have. My understanding is sand blasting would be fine. No matter what brand Berliner you use it will become flat in color and be a bit of a pain to keep clean. If you are very particular about how clean it’ll look I would look at going another route.

Im going to end up sucking it up and powder coating mine so it’ll stay glossy

I recommend Durabak. have used it on vehicles and concrete. good stuff. you can spray or roll. If you look up my post I did a thread on my last truck that I had and have some pics of it with the bed, bumper , rocker panels and custom front bumper coated. it was on the truck for 9 years and I sold the truck 3 years ago and still looks great. I don't know how to connect one of my threads to this.

    it was titled NV5600 2002

I've used this on several ranch hands. I just use a wire wheel or wire brush to remove any rust or loose powder coat. 30-40psi works good from my cheap sprayer. It dries to a hard orange peel that looks awesome and is easy to clean. It's pretty dang tough and you can buy a small aerosol can of it to make any spot repairs if needed. I'll see if I can find any pics.

I wouldn't use it for an actual bed liner....it's way too slick/hard for that.
