Anyone else having problems with the two piece drive shafts in the mega cabs?
Mine gives me a thump every time I come off the break and touch the accelerator.

I destroyed the carrier, Texas driveline Specialists make a 1 pieces 5” aluminum driveshaft, mine work great, you can really tell the difference, great costumer service
Carrier bearings are the bane of all 2 piece driveshaft's existence. Go 1 piece and never worry about it again.
Good idea. For some reason Dodge hasn't been able to install a carrier bearing that is reliable long term. They're just another point of failure. I've tried to get into the engineers head to figure out why they use them. Maybe they're trying to eliminate torque lash on the trans yoke. I can see how the tail shaft bushing could be taking extra pressure. I'm just an Electrical ungineer. We didn't get some of that torque logic. But it's all geometry
