    Stock file download

Just received my DRD MM3 and will be installing when I have the chance.

My question is once I retrieve the stock file and its on the sim card, how critical is it to download to a computer as I don’t have one readily available (believe it or not).

I could probably have a buddy do it on his computer if necessary.

It’s not 100% critical but I’d advise it just in case.

I would download it as soon as you could for safe keeping in case something happened to your SD card.

Sadly these sd cards are not the most reliable so like stated, a backup is always a good choice.

The SD cards work just fine. It's when people start formatting them and loading files in weird ways that problems occur. However, @TheDad as everyone has mentioned, better to save a copy of the backup somewhere other than the tuner for a wide variety of reasons.

    Thanks everyone.

    Kinda what I thought.

I will move forward and get it saved ASAP.

Well I installed my MM3 and collected the stock file. I took the sd card and attempted to save it to my daughters laptop and when I installed the sd card back into the MM3 it says no valid sd card found. I have no idea what I did but I messed something up and I just hope it will be an easy fix and hopefully no damage was done. I have reached out to ray on his site for technical support so I will just have to wait and see what he says.

Unplug obd plug, remove memory card and then reinstall card, plug in obd plug.

You may need to reformat your card if this doesn’t work.

Tried that with no luck. No idea on reformatting the card so I will have to wait to see what ray wants me to do. I had a bad feeling as soon as I got on the laptop. It’s just not something I should be messing with. Prime example
