Good looking pickup, just not a fan of the larger wheels.

Hey, that looks familiar.
Excuse the dirt!
Personal preference for me is tucked under as opposed to spaced out of the wheel well.
That's been true going back to the muscle car days, always preferred a mini-tub with the wheels inside the body lines.
I like your headlight bezels - well done.

@TexNeck - Thanks. I wish I could take credit for it.
It's a factory option - Body Color Headlight Filler Panel - I think.
I did an VIN decode when looking at the truck used, and that came up as one of the options installed.
I have seen very few similar to it, and originally assumed it was a custom add-on.
Man! I don’t think a lot of people know about that. I bet they’d buy and not bake/paint lenses since it’s a complete PITA!
Like you said though very few people have it so it’s a great custom touch!

I totally agree I have a 3rd gen crew cab long bed that is white
Ya, I'm not knocking anyone that has or likes them. Just my opinion (you know what they say about opinions), but I have warmed up a little to the 20's some folks run.

I get what you are saying but my opinion I am still a fan of 16s but 17s have grown on me because my 03 has them but if it had 18s I would have figured out a way to sell them. I am not a fan of the look of what most people around my age like.
Over time the diameter of the tire has continued to get bigger from the factory, with that a larger rim size kinda keeps a perspective that is somewhat familiar. With factory tires now being around 33" tall, a 17" wheel looks fine to me. Back when 15" rims were common from the factory, a lot of the tires were smaller than 30"- 31" tall.
This is the first truck I've had with 20's. I think I would prefer an 18 if I was chosing something. The one thing that I do like about the black rims is that it much harder to get a perspective of the tires height. Look at a truck with chrome 20's and then one with black 20's. With the same size tire, the chrome rim makes the sidewall look much shorter. The black rim blends with the tire, hard to tell where the rim starts and the tire ends.
The longer I have the truck, the more I am getting used to the look.
