    Intercooler shroud

Just got a bumper from american built.

I feel like it leaves the intercooler a little exposed , the shroud channeling the air to it is also made of plastic.

Does anyone make a good fix for this ?

I have a road armor bumper and my outer shroud got destroyed. Intercooler is just fine though. I'd imagine you'd have to be doing pretty extreme offroading to need any kind of additional skid plate for protection.

The main reason for this bumper was the deer I hit mid summer middle of the day. Shroud was busted up pretty good. I just have a hard time replacing cheap plastic with cheap ( $150) plastic just to let it break again

I like the bumper- similar to mine. I am in the same boat. I plan on using some stretched steel to block large debris from coming into it but just haven’t done it yet. Was thinking of using metal zip ties since there’s not a great way to make a bracket the way it’s angled. I am planning on keeping it more like a skid plate almost angled from bottom on intercooler to bottom of bumper
