quite down turbo noise after delete.

    First post!

I deleted DPF (no muffler or resi) & stealth ERG Until I decide to keep or not. 2018 longhorn-south fork, DRW Aisin. The exhaust brake is so loud. I tow my rock crawler to some **** places. I have no drone but haven't towed since delete. What muffler can I clamp or weld on so I don't attract attention? I don't race it. Just want it as quite as possible. Aluminium preferred. Thank you all

    Hi.

    I used a Diamond Eye muffler 460033 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is a little louder than stock and I think it sounds great.

I’m a huge fan of FTE resonator - will kill drone but still allow some sound to come through. Put it on right after the down pipe. They have a 18” or 30”. Clayton at Dudes diesel on here can hook you up!

I road straight pipe for about a month and then needed something to take the edge off. I went with the FTE 18" and love it. Still gives plenty of sound but not quite so loud, especially when you start to tow. Same as TexNeck, i cut mine in just after my downpipe.

Thanks for the input people. I want it as quiet as possible. My forum searches pulled up resi - muff and muff -muff combos. Im not after sound effects. That said the exhaust break bothers me the most. What combo will quite down exhaust and really quite down the E.B.? i got 40" on both sections of DPF delete pipes so I could do two 30" muffs or will there be drone without a resi? (no drone now with straight pipes).

If you put two 30” mufflers that should definitely quiet it down. Exhaust brake sound also.
I left the resonator on mine with straight pipe and love the sound, especially the exhaust brake. No drone what so ever.
