The guys at the other forum say you can pick up like 25whp if you delete the mirrors. I can't confirm this though.

LOL, I will delete my mirrors but you go first, you know, to confirm it


I have, on occasion, been known to pull a ghost trailer or two. Mostly just to annoy people that hate the mirrors flipped out LOL

I tried to drive with my mirrors up to do the same thing as you but I didn’t want to start liking it and become “one of them” haha

I mean, I actually prefer it because of the blind spot mirror being way more useful with the mirrors up. I can set the main glass for seeing across multiple lanes and the blind spots right down the sides of the truck. With the mirrors down the blind spot glass is pretty useless. Now on the 5th gens with blind spot monitor, the blind spot mirror isn't even needed literally unless you have a trailer hooked up

My neighbor agrees with that point, he has a 18’ dually with a 5” lift and he says some roads are a tight squeeze and the mirrors in the up position helps his viewing and it does add attitude to his truck with them up.

I’ve got a bone stock truck and I agree with your neighbor. It is a lot easier for me to see with my mirrors out but I also like the look of the truck more with them out. My friends that aren’t Dodge guys think I’m dumb but little mirrors (folded down) look funny on these trucks. IMO

Took longer than I thought for someone to see that

i am a mirror down guy- I did have them up and agree blind spots are basically non existent up....my theory is if I can’t see you through my mirror or back window then you better get outta the way.

I like the mirrors up personally. I think it really sets off the big rig look that the Ram already has.
