Re: The Creation of The JUDGE!

Ok - 2 weeks ago - I spent my whole weekend off and Washed & Polished the JUDGE from Top to Bottom!

Mind You - It hadn't rained or stormed in 3 weeks - Well, the following Monday - Out of Nowhere, a 3-hour thunderstorm pounded us - while at work.

Before all of this, My Son & I finally got a chance to install the Morimoto XB LED fog lights set.

Install was easy - basically Plug & Play.

Late getting the PICS - Truck is Filthy & Bug Splattered!

Once adjusted - (Not Blinding oncoming traffic) - Level Beam @ 28" - This made a remarkable improvement in Nighttime driving for my OLD Eyes.

The only time I will use these is during thick fog & snowing conditions - Never just be a douche bag and attempt to look kewl.

Now to attempt to either find Halogen bulbs to match the 5500K (Pure White) color or Replace the Headlights themselves.

The JUDGE needs another bath - but I don't have the energy today.

Here are a couple of pics - Yes, these make an amazing difference over the Cheezy OEM attempt @ lighting.

I have these exact lights on my truck.

I guess I’ll be the douche bag because I run mine at night in clear weather, which helps me see better. LOL

Well, now hold on a min -ya made the older man feel bad!

Some of these younger whippersnappers - don't even think of adjusting these for the Fog & Heavy Snow conditions - Otherwise blinding oncoming traffic!

Watersupply - I know you have a ton of common sense & would take the time to do this.

I know these will much benefit visibility during the night time hours, so running them once adjusted during the night would only benefit others seeing you and what is alongside the road for you to see & hopefully have time to avoid if need be.

We have many oil field (#$%#) in these parts & there seem to those that feel they have to have the 4'-6" lifted $85K trucks that run these LEDs - as well as Light Bars & PODS going down the highways it's almost to the point of flipping dangerous for oncoming traffic.
I guess since they are Oil Field - They feel they are above the law! (In These Parts)

I have no intentions of offending members - It's just my old age - rambling my honest opinions.
I only feel (Think with Common Sense) - If You Install these - Make adjustments to them - so they can perform the way they were designed!

ESPECIALLY if you have a Lift of any kind!

Brother, you didn’t offend me at all.

I agree with what you are saying about people not adjusting their lights and blinding other drivers.

Here where I live, they made it against the law to run those bar lights on a public road.

I’ve had these Morimoto fog lights for a couple of years now with zero issues.

    Looking good @SyN!!!

    These are great lights!

I had them on my '12 loved them.

I also had them on anytime my headlights were on.

    Did the look cool?

    Damn right!

But more so because they filled in the dead area between the front of the truck and where headlights hit the ground.

Maybe not an issue if you still have the halogen bulbs, but I retrofitted projectors with HIDs, leaving a gap once they were adjusted for my leveled truck.
