Installing an analog might be the best option right now, just to be sure. Thanks!

No I don't know anyone with a Cummins... just a Powerstroke... and we know that wont compare.
There are a lot of folks from Texas, where are you located?
Maybe one of us can meet you somewhere

I'm in the north Texas area.
My brother lives in the Houston area so I always have an excuse to drive down that way too.
Update:
So I took the truck for a little drive to watch the boost gauge so I could give some better numbers.
When casual accelerating 0 - 45 I'm getting about 3psi
When getting on the pedal a little more 0 - 45 about 6psi
Cruising on highway at 70 getting 5.6 psi
I slowed down to 60 then throttled it to 80 and got up to 22 psi
I could definitely hear the turbo better at highway speeds. I'm gonna put an analog gauge on because I'm thinkin/hoping the factory gauge is just giving a bad reading.
Do you have a MM3 or Edge in your truck? Or anything that can do a data log?
I don't doubt what you're saying, but everyone's driving habits are different. I'd like to see throttle percentage against boost level.
I have the MM3 tuner. What numbers should I be looking for with throttle position and boost? What about rail pressure too?
Let's put Throttle Position, Boost Pressure, Turbine Speed, VGT Turbo Position, & RPM up on a dashboard and run a log. Normal driving and then, for ease of reading the log, if you can idle for 2 min, and then do a couple of standing WOT pulls.
Do that, load the log up on your computer and then upload it here. Excel file preferred please. I can load it, graph it, and get a reasonable idea of what might be going on.
That would awesome! I appreciate it!
Couple of questions just to confirm:
1. When you say standing wot pull, do you mean to wot from a stop?
2. With the data logger on the MM3, I see the log option from the main menu (which is different than Ray's video). Do I hit that after driving or before for it to record?
Thanks for all your help!
Boost PSI is throttle related and load % related as well which correspond with RPM also
There's a PID for throttle % - I would look at that and boost psi to see how they correlate.
For my 2013 Usually 2k rpm and under with throttle % about 30% psi is 6-11 on relatively flat road- maxes at 31psi at 100% (WOT)
