    First Cummins Build

Hey guys! I bought a block off a dude who works in a diesel shop. Says the block had been sitting for quite awhile. Long story short I came back off a depo and I opened up this block to clean and rebuild. Come to find out the bearing are 0.25mm and the pistons are 7163 STD. I got weirded out at first because theirs no numbers stamped in the rocker to show that it’s piston number 1 so I dig deeper after cleaning to find this. Can somebody explain the 0.25mm to me cause I can’t tell if it’s oversized or undersized.

Might be a stupid question but I’ve rebuilt other engine variants but this being my first Cummins build I’m trying to do it right and have a quality engine in the end

sorry I can't help here. Someone who has milled one before should be round soon. But it might help with a more info, as year would help.
