    Holy Cow! I had a 79 Eldo with the diesel.

    The 2 biggest problems with that motor was the crank and injection pump. I pulled mine and did the crank JIC and flipped it after 6 months or so. Used to get 22 on the highway.

    50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC
