    68RFE Shudder

    Good evening.

I've got a 2016 2500 with a 68RFE and when put in reverse, gives a shudder for a few seconds.

Has anyone experienced this before or know what the cause could be?

Do you have a monitor in your truck? .
    .
Can you display your transmission pressure?

I don’t. It only seems to happen when softly giving it throttle. After the shudder it shifts great through all gears up and down

    Maybe old fluid?

Shudder is usually a pressure issue. The clutch pack isn't getting clamped down hard enough. If you can get access to a monitor, that would make understanding the issue much easier.

No problem. It's going to likely be clutch pack or torque converter. But either way, monitor will let you know which one it is.

Might be a member near you that wouldn't mind plugging in their MM3 or CTS2 into your truck for a bit.
