Fox 2.0 IFP shocks use an Internal Floating Piston(IFP), to separate the nitrogen from the shock fluid, resulting in better damping quality compared to an emulsion(Nitrogen and oil mixed) style shock. While these shocks can handle short 10min bursts of very aggressive full-travel hot desert driving, if you plan to do that often, or for longer duration, you will overheat these shocks and void warranty. Washboard road style driving, for hours on end, is no worry at all. If you will be wanting to drive fast and aggressive off-road, for longer duration, you need to step up to our remote reservoir 2.0 shocks minimum, or our 2.5" shocks, especially in the front.

Sold as pair.
Our valving design tune, with extra rebound damping for more bounce control.
Aluminum body helps dissipate heat.
Rubber bushing ends.
These rear shocks for leaf springs have a broad tune that will work great on anything from stock leafs, to our Long Travel leafs.
Steel exposed shafts, so option in shock boots if you will be in muddy, salty, gritty conditions often.(SEE NOTE BELOW *)
These shocks only work with our coil springs, or OEM coil springs as noted!!!!

*Once over 30 days old, shaft seal leaks are not covered under warranty, so make sure the shafts are protected if off-road or you live in a corrosive environment. These shock shafts are not stainless steel, so over time if not protected they can rust, and that is not a warranty covered situation.
