Well I don't have my truck yet but I figured that since this is the first time I've ever ordered a vehicle from the factory, and I'm pretty excited about it, I would start a thread to catalog the whole process. Not much to talk about now, but the configuration is below. Here's to hoping it's done sooner than later!

    Laramie Level 2

    5/30/19 - D Status & VIN
    6/1/19 - D1 Status (Gateline scheduled)
    6/17/19 - Ramp ETA given
6/21/19 - Ramp ETA retracted & case opened

Sweet! In the past the Laramie could only be ordered with 3.42 rears like my '13 if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully they finally got wise and changed that. You may want to double check just to be sure. If I had my choice I would've ordered 3.92s since I always put bigger tires on everything. Be sure to send pics when she comes in! I've ordered 2. Its a long wait but worth it!

Standard rear gear is now 3.73 with 4.10 being an option. I'm doing the 3.73s, should be good with 18s & 35s. I'll definitely put up pictures when the time comes, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for that 6 week time frame and not the 12 week time frame LOL

LOL 3.73 isn't bad at all. It's actually the right gear for these trucks. The 3.42 in the 4th gens was far too low once larger tires were installed.

My '12 came with 3.73s and its not bad at all, now that I moved to 35s it's even better. Its like they expected me to put 35s on it

I have wondered for a long time why 3.42 was what most came with seems that is a bit high if you hook anything behind it.
