Well I don't have my truck yet but I figured that since this is the first time I've ever ordered a vehicle from the factory, and I'm pretty excited about it, I would start a thread to catalog the whole process. Sweet! In the past the Laramie could only be ordered with 3.42 rears like my '13 if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully they finally got wise and changed that. You may want to double check just to be sure. If I had my choice I would've ordered 3.92s since I always put bigger tires on everything. Be sure to send pics when she comes in! I've ordered 2. Its a long wait but worth it!

Standard rear gear is now 3.73 with 4.10 being an option. I'm doing the 3.73s, should be good with 18s & 35s. I'll definitely put up pictures when the time comes, I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for that 6 week time frame and not the 12 week time frame LOL

I have wondered for a long time why 3.42 was what most came with seems that is a bit high if you hook anything behind it.

The 3.42 is a horrible ratio for a 2500. It puts way too much stress on the OD clutches. Good for fuel economy but bad for everything else. I'm glad Ram does 3.73 stock now

I have 342's in my 03. It is a bit testy with 12K and 285's on hills. But the RPMs are much lower at highway. Without the MM3, I was getting 22 MPG.

Does anyone know if the 2018 DPF and cat delete pipe will fit my 2019?
