Well it’s shock day and I for the life of me can’t get the bottom bolt off the front shock.
It’s stripped out.
The locking tab is long rusted off.
I've tried to weld a wrench on it but can’t get a good enough angel on it to get penetration.
Anyone have experience in this area
Truck needs to be back on the road by tomorrow night.

Whelp I got it. The bolt from hell. Ended heating the crap out of it until it was almost cherry red wedged a wrench in behind it and it popped right loose. Added a new 3” 9/16-13 bolt, anti backing nut, and two washers then torqued to 100ftlbs and waaaaa laaaa
Also added the tower deletes with factory shocks. See how this goes.

Well I got a burr up my butt and decided to stay late at work to change my hubs and ball joints.
Then ends up breaking a tie rod so I figured I’ll change the steering for the updated one (that wasn’t cheap).

Hit it all with a 120 grit finger sander in a drill. I think it looks all right.
