Lost power pulling up a grade, air sensors shutting down

I am pulling a 43' 5th wheel (about 15,000 lbs). The engine is light comes on and the truck goes into limp mode. This is the second time it has happened to me. The service group tells me the air box shut down. Has anyone else had this problem? Seems the truck should pull without these problems.

Don't recognize that code would more than likely be a p0xxx number. Is the truck deleted or stock?

On thing to check since you said related to air box. There is a intake tlcorrugated air tube that runs on me in between the inner fender and the fender it has a tendency to collapse. one thing to check to see if you pull your air filter out if you got like a little paper pieces of something in the bottom of your air box that's a good indication that is collapsing.

Thanks for the replies. The error code was P2281. They replaced the PCM and reprogrammed. Not feeling real confident about it.
I'm looking to replace the intake tube with the Airaid tube, has anyone tried this?
