    Good Day Everybody

Good Day, names Jim, have a 2016 3500 c&c, (all about that flatbed life) 65k miles on it, and time to start making some changes, from Manhattan, IL, (small farm town till suburbanites started transplanting)
had 2 diesels before this one, well, and a couple semis, still have an 82 gmc with a 6.2 non turbo, had a 2001 f250 with a 7.3, well built trans, baby turbo, and a little nitrous to go with the extra fuel . this cummins truck is a bit of a different animal, wanting to see about a little more power, and some better economy. and may end up putting a real trans in it, this aisin is lazy.

I was wanting to ask some questions about that product, but when i went to the website that I have been eyeballing since i got the truck, it said there were some changes in how they were doing things, basically having to go through here, which, with the EPA, i can understand, been in the auto repair business for 15 years, and they can be a royal P.I.T.A. at times.

We all know the cab and chassis is a bit of a different animal with programming, they are programmed lazy for longevity.

    My questions:

    1. Can the programmer be used as a secondary gauge console without tuning?
    2. Can I turn stuff off, like the air intake sensor crap, manipulate the calibration for tire size, ditch the governor stuff like that, or does it have to be strictly programmed out and uploaded.
