    Delete or Not to Delete....

I have to replace the DEF tank on my 2016 6.7. I have 67k miles on it. The stealership is wanting $1600 to replace it. Generally speaking, how much does it cost to delete? The DRD tune package that I would want is about the same price so I would be out the cost for parts to delete. Am I on the right track of biting the bullet and just deleting this dude?

First off, do you live in state that doesn't have emission testing? If not, then delete. I personally would delete only what's truly needed, imo. Your truck is newer than mine (2012). I only removed the DPF and NOX units and replaced with a straight pipe. Everything under the hood is still there.

Also, check online for the part, it might be a lot cheaper.

I live in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky! No emissions.

Well if your wanting to deleted then now is as good of time as any. Why do you need a tank? Did you get a hole in it

Welcome! The tuning and exhaust can be had for less than $2k if you know where to look. You can leave the hard parts under the hood if you wish.

The DEF injector went bad. They are saying that the entire tank has to be replaced as they dont replace just the injector

The injector is on the exhaust. No need to replace the tank assembly. Just replace injector yourself and don't go back to that place. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F192023874629
