    Novelty tunes are awesome!

I installed my ceramic Valair DD clutch and just got through the 500 mile break in. I then installed my MM3 tuned at DRD along with an MBRP 5” exhaust yesterday.

I noticed the Whistle tune to be perfect. No issues.

The 12v tune white smokes even when warmed up. Why is this?

Finally, the lope tune is VERY touchy with the throttle and is a nightmare because I can’t slip the clutch on my truck. It lunges sometimes when letting off the throttle and pressing it again. Up to 4th gear I can see and feel it.

Any my advice on the 12v or lope tune?

edit*. I found the videos explaining the novelty tunes on DRD’s website.

    Hey there friend,
From what I was told the lope tune is only for parking lot use, not made for highway.

Do not drive on the lope tune. I usually wait until the coolant temp is 180* before I enable the 12v file.

Like the others have said the lope tune is for sitting still parking lot tune only. You can not drive on the lope tune. The white smoke on 12v tune is normal especially when it’s cold.

I thought the lope tune was likely not road friendly based based on it’s manners going down the driveway. I couldn’t find anything that said it wasn’t.

I love the tunes from DRD.

    Re: Novelty tunes are awesome!

I always wait until the alternator has engaged before selecting the 12v. Tune after starting the truck. Otherwise I look like the moron who never drained his water separator going down the road. My truck smokes white a LOT and skips some if the bat. Voltage isnt above 13.5 or so when applying the 12v. Tune.
