LED Headlight Bulbs That Fit Quad Housings

    Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to let everybody know that Auxbeam F-16 series LED headlight bulbs fit in the quad headlight housings and allow you to use the dust/water cap on the back of the housings.

They are also direct plug and play requiring nothing more than what comes in the box.

    Looks good!

Any problems with using these bulbs and the canBUS system?

No problems at all, direct plug and play.

Each set of bulbs was $49.99 on amazon.

    They are very bright!

I used the exact same ones and they work great, no problems with the canbus system at all. only downside with them is the plug is really cheesy and does not give a tight fit. Like he said you can put the dust cap back in so it shouldn't be a problem, but I still put some dielectric grease on the end of the plugs for a little extra protection.

Man those lights are bright!! I tried LED’s in my truck but the canBUS system is very picky in mine and the lights wouldn’t work half the time even having canBUS adapters added. HID in the projector headlights works great in my truck with no issues at all. I did install the Morimoto LED fog lights and they work great compared to just adding the LED bulbs to the factory fog light housing.

They come with the CanBus adapters, I'd recommend these.

I use Supernova V4 from Headlight Revolution. No issues at all, love them. They pump out about 3,600 lumen per bulb.

I have heard good things about the V4, just couldn’t justify spending that much. The Auxbeam are only 3,000 lumen per bulb, but I also got all 3 sets of bulbs (High, Low, and Fog) for $150. They fit the bill for me.

Did you put the 9005 bulb in the fog lights? Ordered some for my truck and had issues putting the fog lights in.

Yes I put the 9005 in my fogs, took some finagling to get them to fit since the tabs on the 9005 aren’t an exact match for the 9145 (stock) tabs. I believe in 2013 the trucks switched to 9006 fogs.
