you definitely DON'T want to go to beasty with the clutch...when I built my 2nd gen 850ish rwhp daily driver...with an NV4500, it was going through a clutch a year...I got tired of it and went with the biggest baddest ceramic double disk valair made at the time...and started going through input shafts and counter shafts and gears and other expensive stuff that banged around and broke all the other expensive stuff that it could touch, a couple times a year...lesson learned...a weaker clutch can actually save you money

Most failed stock or around 450hp.
Never knew vlair made a double d clutch for 850hp.

Local shop in Logan OH...been gone for a while...never had a G56, are they any better?

I just realized I did this...550ish RWHP...I was on cumminsforum talking about another truck (goal for my current 3rd gen 6.7) when I was typing this and had 850 on the brain...2nd gen was 550ish with 3800# 650HP ceramic clutch
