    68RFE TRANS LEARNING PROCESS

    Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know where to find the trans Learning process step-by-step after I tuned my 2018 6.7 I set her at 120 HP and just drove it for a couple of days without knowing I was supposed to re learned the transmission I now have it set the switch at 30 Hp and have driving it for about two weeks. I haven’t romped on her at all only 6,000 miles on the truck. I have noticed an occasional stall in the transmission engaging from a standstill, seems to up shift very fast and down shift slow.
    Thanks for sharing.

I'm not sure I've seen an official documented process. For my truck, I just make sure to take a week or 2 of mild around town driving after a retune before I really get into it or pull the camper.

At this point I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to return my truck back to stock and then reinstall my tune to get my trans tune straightened out

Going to have to do some research don’t know if it’s safe to return my truck to stock now that it’s been deleted and then reinstall tune ? not sure how that process works. Will have to send Ray an email.

You can return to stock and then reapply tuning with no problems.

Ill take it out again today and do a little more before I go back to work Friday. Being my drive to work is 30 miles on mostly highway I want the trans to relearn before I get it on the highway. Hope I got it right this way. If anyone has any other ideas or sees a problem with what I have done let me know.
