For those of you running a pillar mount for your tuner, how does it stand up to the heat? I'm in Phoenix and if I leave anything in my truck in the summer it usually stops working. I've burned up a few iPods over the years and I didn't leave them in the direct sun. So what do you guys do?

    As always thanks in advance.

so just checking but if you use a window screen, does it fit correctly (full length) and does it have reflective material. only reason I ask, if its not covering the full length , even a couple inches of exposed sun on the dash will act as you don't have a screen. I also at times will pick and choose parking spots based on weather. Most I was ever around was 136+ degrees in Iraq and
UAE. the ceramic tint should be much cheaper in AZ then other states. It was cheaper when my mom lived in Yuma.

I'm not worried about the heat and the Monitor, I can say the suction cup design is really thick and its clear. I have had many GPS suction cups that were much thinner and black in color and they almost melt to window and then start failing from there.
