Re: Intake Baffle Removal (Dyno Numbers)

I removed the baffle on my ‘12 Ram and the only difference I could tell was a little more whistle when I accelerated (I thought it sounded pretty good, actually). When I removed the baffle on my ‘18 Ram I noticed no? difference.

Does anyone think that the turbo actuator failed directly because of the absence of the intake baffle for 10 months?
Absolutely not... I have had mine removed for well over a year with no issues.

They put this same 6.7 Cummins in Freightliner M2 Trucks as well.

We have a bunch of them at work.

There is no baffle from the factory on them.

The turbo actuator does not know or care if the baffle is there.

The actuator failed because they are failure prone parts, you didn't cause it, no worries.
