New MM3 Firmware ver. (4-8-2019)

Ray, so if I understand correctly my trk has been tuned since 2018 and I’ve never updated firmware since I got setup from you, so if I update the firmware now I may have some issues with the custom tunes from you.

Only reason I want to update is to adj my stupid TPMS.

No issues I have heard of at this point.

I did the update awhile back and have had no issues...

Yes, tuned via DRD, an didn’t state was problematic just wanted to make sure there would be no issues.

Truck runs great an has never missed a beat. I sure don’t want any issues now days.

Will try the update an see if can finally adj my TPMS.

I got my mm3 in December and just checked and updated the firmware to the new 6-3-2020. I am not seeing anything stating a re-flash is needed for a new feature but I wanted to double check to make sure.

In doing some research there is some question about removal of the DEF tank and pump on newer models possibly throwing a code even with tuning. I have a 2018 3500 Laramie with EGR/DPF/SCR deleted and DRD full package tuning and am wondering if there are issues with DEF tank removal or does the tuning account for it?

I would appreciate if @DRD, @MM3 Power or one of the local experts could clarify.

If we have an 2018 or older should we install this new firmware update?

If we update the firmware to a newer version and have issues is it possible to revert back to the previous firmware version?

The June firmware was only done to allow programming of the 19-20 model trucks.

No reason to update the firmware if you dont have one of those models.

Once you update the firmware you cannot go backwards.

I tried to update my MM3 and it just times out and tells me to unplug the OBD and restart.
