Ok I took my wife's 05 out today to run it and I jumped on it to blow the soot out and check engine light only thing I had to check it with was my bulldog and it came up (p2121 throttle/pedal position sensor switch D circuit range/performance) anybody know if this sounds rite? And I guess it's the TPS sensor that's bad? Thanks.

Replace the TPS. $400 Bucks. Seems to be a common problem with the 5.9's with electronics.
BTW. . .That channel also runs the cooling fan. You could overheat like I did. Hence Electric fans. The fan codes come on and off.
Clear the codes and see what happens.

I cleared the code it runs fine until u jump on it then it throws the check engine light but it still runs fun with the light on.
OK Go ahead. Argue with me.
Must be a flat spot or dirty spot on the potentiometer.
Then don't floor it!

05 is a good year. A bit better than the 03 with th ebigger turbo on it. The TPS is common

LOL 05 sucks I should of bought another 06. The 06 has more miles been beat to hell and back. The 05 takes all my $$ just to keep it running LOL that's why I can't put more into my 06. LOL
