    P2121 Code

I recently bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 and get’n frustrated with this code. Since I’ve bought the truck I’ve changed the tps, throttle body delete, h&s mini max, cleared the code a few times. The truck will run good for almost a month then will pull this code and I have a dead pedal. How can I get rid of this problem? Please help bring back my sanity.

Have you checked your wiring harness under the hood to make sure there are no wires that are exposed/damaged?

Yes I have and tomorrow I plan on doing a more in-depth look. It’ll run good for a while then hit the fan again.

Could be the pedal controller in the truck

Definitely check battery connections as sometimes this is the issue. Not sure if you washed the truck recently but sometimes this causes this code as well.

I’ve cleaned and tightened the connections on both batteries. Funny thing is that Tuesday I had the code pull up, then had someone help me tow it to a mechanic shop. After we get to the shop turned off my truck and turned back on the code was gone.

Has anyone ever heard of the dampner shock absorber causing the code to come on

The code is for your apps. Which is pretty common to start sending a erratic signal and causes the issues your having. That part is the pedal assembly. Unplug it and make sure its plugged back in good or replace it

I’m hoping it’s not the pedal because I’ve replaced it twice already and still have the same issue. Plus, O’Rielly’s, Diesel Auto Power, and Autozone have the pedal for $205 on up.

Not sure what to tell you then. Aftermarket electronics tend to be garbage tho
