    Daystar airbag cradle installation

Just got done installing my new Daystar cradles on my 2014 srw. I have been running the load lifter 5000 for some time now. I needed to be able to flex my suspension more so I installed the cradles to allow the air bags to "disconnect " from the axel. Here are the pics from the install.

The key to the whole installation was the right angle drill attachment. I couldn't drop the axel far enough to fit my regular drill in there. Once in had the right tool, it was a quick install.

Looks good. I have that same floor jack. Been around for a long time.

Can you explain a bit more on your issue with the AirLift 5000? I am about to do some more upgrades and the airlift 5000 ultimate was the plan. My hesitation has been questionable spacing with the 5" exhaust, but this post is making me question it for other reasons too. Maybe I should just do the Daystars and Airlift compressor....
    Thanks

    Re: Daystar airbag cradle installation

So, I ended up finding a set of used AirLift 5000 Ultimate for the truck locally. I still needed to purchase the 52420 spacer to accommodate the Icon Springs. I am still worried a little if I fully unload the axle, but overall seem to have the space needed to have substantial suspension travel and be within AirLifts recommendations. Still plenty of room between bags and exhaust.
