    4” or 5” exhaust

I’m planning on deleting my 2014 2500 ram, I tow a 10,000 lbs camper in the summer, I plan on going with mm3 with DRD tunes and I’m not shore what exhaust to get I don’t won’t The drone to be tobad when towing? Would 4” or the 5” make a difference with the egts when towing?
    Any help would be great.

    Thanks.

4 inch will be just fine with a muffler and a resonator right by the downpipe.

Start off with just muffler first and if you feel you need more muffle then get a resonator and place it after the downpipe

Do you guys think I could just do the delete pipe and keep the stock muffler? When towing what kind of egt temps should I be worried about?

You will need to remove SCR (muffler) and DPF. 4'' flows fine for most applications up to 1000hp. I kept my factory down pipe and tail pipe.

I second the downpipe to FTE 30"!

You cannot use the factory muffler sadly but if you do not want a drone i highly recommend the resonator or muffler. I myself prefer a quieter deeper tone rather then a straight pipe LOL. This getting older thing is terrible! LOL!!!

I should have worded that better. You can utilize the stock muffler only but it's designed to have everything else in front of it and not really meant for high flow. The performance mufflers are made alot better and for high flow. I should have worded that better and i apologize for that.

    Thanks for the clarification.
If I would go with 5” exhaust do you think I’d see a difference in egts or is it not worth the extra money? I’m probably going to stick with the 30hp tune maybe the 60hp when I’m not towing.
