@hoe Have you actually done this? I have been looking into this lately but I don't have the access to check the measurements.

I was told by a titan rep that was the case.
Due to freight costs to Australia I didn't go ahead with it.

Thanks for the quick reply, I called Titan recently, and they said nothing else would fit.
I think they may have been in the CYA mentality for legal purposes.
Is ANYONE out there (out of the states) that has put a larger Titan-style tank on their truck after the weight loss program?
I know there has to be something that will work.
I am willing to add or build a bracket to make something work, but I am not spending that kind of money for an extra 18 gallons of fuel, but I would do it to almost double the capacity.

What type/size of compressor and tank did you go with?
I'm looking to do the same thing as you did.
I probably want to mount my compressor under the hood and run the lines back to the tank.
Plan to put airbags on soon.
Is your setup for airbags?
If so, what did you end up using for that?
Thanks.
I am just looking for ideas.
I went with this kit.

I went with their spare tire delete mount and extra 2.5-gal tank, "a total of 5gal capacity."
Super simple to run wires to and from, and you get the privilege of being heard for a long way.
I threw an air chuck on the end of a tank and an air hose to fill a tire if needed.
If you're a tent camper during summertime, you'll have neighbors around you asking to fill mattresses up.
The only thing that went out on me was the pressure switch.
I kept filling up and blowing the safety relief valve, which wouldn't shut off.
I do a lot of driving on logging roads and still haven't busted a trumpet.
Also, perfect for them protesters and Priuses.
II 60HP STICKS, II 33% CP3, II S464 2ND GEN SWAP, FASS 165 TITANIUM SIGNATURE SERIES, AFE INTAKE HORN, S&B FILTER, 5" TURBO BACK, ALPHAREX HEAD LIGHTS, 38X13.5X20 RAZOR M/T, MOTO METAL RIMS, 6" LA LIFT KIT, COMPLET MM3 KIT, BUILT TRANSMISSION, 6 BOLT REDHEAD STEERING BOX, YUKON 4.56 GEARS W/ COVERS
So one could cut a hole in the fuel and def tank down low with an adequate tube/hose run from one to another and then sealed for an extra 5 gal of diesel.
Has anyone been successful with this feat?
Not worth even attempting for 5 gals of fuel.
Just get an S&B tank.
I have 65gals now.
