8" exhaust tip

Got an 8 inch tip for my truck today. Extremely tight fit. LOL. I didnt like the way it stuck on on a side exit I even cut 9 inches off the flo pro tail pipe and it definately wasnt going to fit dumped. So I got to digging around the garage. Got ahold to the extension pipe for the megacabs. And attached that to the exhaust where it comes over the axle then threw my tip on it. Still a super tight fit. So for anyone wanting a big tip if you dont want to spend an hour adjusting the exhaust ide say go with a 7 inch. But the 8 can be done. I'll post pics and maybe a sound clip comparing tip to no tip if I can figure out how to post it on here Haha.

Snap I like that!!! Only thing is how bad will it blacken your rear bumper?
I put a powder coated 5” turn down for my tip. Got tired of the bumper blacking out. LOL

I remember you sending me a pic of it. It looks good. I'm not sure man. Its aimed down pretty good but really my truck doesnt smoke like at all. Not even before the turbo comes to life. So either the tunes are really clean or it's something with the altitude since ol boy that tuned it is in Montana. And I'm sure it's quite a bit different in altitude. I have wondered if the tuning is right for this altitude.. I'm still a little worried about when hitting bumps if the tip is gonna hit the sway bar end link since its got about an inch of clearance. If it does I've got another route imma try which would make it come out about like the newer duramaxes do thay have the daggum trumpets at the tail pipe LOL.
