    Rear step and protection

I forgot to post what i had built. Every truck I have had in the past, someone would always hit my bumper when I'm parked. Because I weld not so well i had a friend make this. It's a step and it will bite back if anyone hits me. The sensors in the bumper don't trigger with it. I have only walked into one time to many.Screenshot_20190119-112727.jpgScreenshot_20190119-112822.jpg

That thing is doing some serious damage to a shin when least expected. Ugggg.
I like it. I'm vertically challenged so I'm always standing on my reciever to reach over the tail gate. I might need to make one in my free time.

You might want to check out the Amp Research bed step- I have one on my truck and it’s great. I do tow a bit so having to swap step hitch with ball is not ideal. It tucks up close under bumper so it’s not in the way. I’m sure Dudes Diesel could hook you up

Those are nice and a few bills. This cost about 60$. I do understand about swapping the hitch.
My hitch is only on when I need it. I needed something for a step and this is wider for protection. I'm thinking about putting a recovery ring or hook under it.
