    I'm putting the stock lever back in my 18. The wife and I both like it better. Main reason is the noise and the height needs to be at least a few inches longer for me. And there is no real noitceable difference in shift throw.

    I'm going to give it a try on my 05 G56 and see if it is a better fit there.

    Welp, she came in the other day. It is more metallic sounding and you can hear it click in gear a bit more clear. It's really not that much louder than the stocker. I might play around with adding some thin rubber between the mounting point if I get bored one day. I really like the lack of the shaft damper...gives the shifts a more positive feel.
