Powder Coated Laramie 18's

Haven't seen anyone else do this yet but here it is on our 2018 Tradesman. We also swapped out all the badges/decals to the "blackout edition" truck. The wheels came off an 18 2500 Laramie then I found the black plastic center caps on eBay to replace the chrome ones.

Also added the factory Mopar molded mud flaps.

I adore that blue. I have only seen someone use plasti-dip on oem wheels and its not pretty to me. I like how crisp that looks. when they powder coat does it coat the whole wheel or can they hit and stick the coat only on the surface not have to do the inside.

Thanks. People either love or hate the new holland blue.

When they coated them they can do just the outside surface, the bead seat area and inner wheel is not coated.

Also had the lugs coated too, but that might not have been worth it, because the tire shop informed me those factory lugs are actually a cap on top of a lug, and have a tendency to sometimes strip out or round off on the nut. I might have been better off just ordering aftermarket black lugs. So might get a set in the future. For now, hand torque to 150 ft lbs, no impacts.
