    Re-route Coolant Line

Sorry if this has been covered before, I just installed an EGR delete kit from ***. I am wondering why they have you move the coolant hose from in between the #3 and #4 exhaust manifold to in between the #5 and #6.

I also left it in the stock location because although they send me the plug to seal and reroute, the coolant hose they sent was meant to go in the factory location.

Im sure it’s fine but my OCD won’t let me stop thinking if it’s a good thing to reroute ??

They say it’s to make sure you have full front to back flow. I did mine only because I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing I skipped a step (OCD as well). I’m sure leaving it in the stock location will be just fine. I can tell you I had a heck of a time getting that factory plug out of there!
