Question Air Trapped in Cooling System

I recently changed the thermostat in my 09 6.7 cummins, and i'm having trouble purging air out of the cooling system. The expasion tank keeps over flowing and the radiator level drops.
I read online about jiggle pins, and do not know what/where they are.
    Any help appreciated

The jiggle pin is the little stem with a drop of metal on it. It's usually on the flat portion of the stat. I found the best way to fill it after the flush and drain is through the stat hole slowly until it's full, install the stat and then slowly cap off the radiator. Then there is very little air and the block and radiator and hoses are full. Left side of picture.

Are you sure you have the stat in correct ?
