    Chromebook

Three days into my experience with a Chromebook and I'm kind of impressed. My old laptop took a poop about a week ago (only two years old) so I decided to give one of these a try. Kind of different using apps for everything but it's easier to use than my phone.
Anyone else using a Chromebook? What do you like / dislike? Have any tricks or tips I should know?

I just picked up a Microsoft Surface Book 2. Its pretty sweet too. I have been using MacBooks for ages but I needed a windows device so it would be compatible to my work computers. The touch screen is awesome, and its just like a normal lap top if I want it to be. I did look into Chromebooks as well. They seemed nice, but as they run off android OS, that scared me off. I have had an IPhone for years too.

We have a couple chromebooks and also a Chromebox as a desktop for the kids. I love the simplicity.

Being android kind of helped my decision, been using android phones for years. My wife is the I phone wizard around the house, I couldn't get used to them. Thanks for the input!

Having worked for an MSP (managed service provider) and maintaining a few thousand computers, servers, laptops, tablets and chromebooks, I have come to dislike them. Less support, smaller share of what is out there, and when you have an issue it makes it harder to resolve.

Been years since I used windows or androids. Been extremely happy with Mac. Was looking into a Chrome book for a toy, but with it using the android bases, I still remember the older phones with all the running hidden apps and if nothing else, the massive power drain. Like plugging my life into the light socket everyday.
