    Deleting 2015

    Hi All,

I've been looking around for awhile for answers to a few questions I have about deleting my work truck. Its a 2015 regular cab. Reliability is my biggest factor in doing the delete, and I would like to delete EGR/DPF/SCR without adding any HP. I am pretty set on a 5'' exhaust with muffler, but am worried about fitment issues as I don't see any exhaust kits advertised for regular cabs. What would be the cheapest way to achieve these goals? I am a diesel mechanic so I will be doing all the work myself.

    Thanks for the help.

A stock tune sucks for the Cummins engines.

Depending on the tuner stay under 120HP level and you'll be fine.

FLO~PRO is a great fitting exhaust.

I have a 2015 6.7 Cummins and I’m doing an egr delete throttle valve delete and a 5 inch TBE with a mm3 express tuner. This truck is my daily truck so will doing all this hurt the truck or help it?

If you can swing it go with MM3 and Double R tuning. As said above running more hp is the way to go. It will not hurt anything if used responsibly. I run 120 tune most of the time and fuel mileage is up on avg about 30%..and that’s getting into it more than I should

also install is easy since you don’t have to remove the parts if you don’t want (egr). Only exhaust has to go

Thanks for the help everyone. My last truck (Isuzu Duramax ) I tuned with EFI from Cory at PPEI? Is that not a good option on the cummins? I think you guys have talked me into a tune also.

Only tuning is Rays from DRD and the MM3
    PPEI is junk

    Re: Deleting 2015

I've got a 2018 regular cab and went with Rays tuning from DRD. I keep it on stock level and even that with the 30HP added makes it a totally different truck! The only issue I had was with the Flo Pro 4" exhaust. If get the muffler you will have to cut out about 12" off of the pipes to make room to fit the muffler. It seems the exhaust system is made to fit all models. It would have been nice to have something mentioned in the instructions from the manufacturer that the regular cab wheelbase requires some pipe shortening! No biggie, just be aware so you do not fasten the pipes under there before you remove them to do the shortening.......this will save you some time!
