Do you have all the files on your computer if so I'd reformat SD card ad reload files on it if it is SD issue.

Also unplug the MM3 USB and OBD2 and let reboot.

Sounds like you had some sort of ground fault short or had a power surge to happen.

That is the only way a running engine can shut down by itself other than running out of fuel.

And a power surge would explain what happened to the SD card.

I'm not in office at the moment but the SD card problem can be remedied easily.

I can email your tune files if you are a recent customer.

You can then purchase a new SD locally and use the new auto updater to prepare a new SD card.

Once the new card is prepared, then you can paste the tune files back on the card and you are back in business.

In the meantime, if the truck has no electrical issues, the truck should run just fine with the tuner unplugged.

Email us and we will take care of you tomorrow when we are back at it.

20002 Error - Reading INVALID SD CARD

I know this is an old thread but seems like a common problem.

Many things have changed on this site since I bought my tunes.

I've never even taken my MicroSD card out of my tuner and it's been running great.

Every now and then I have to unplug the OBD2 to reset the thing, but now the card died.

PC won't even recognize it as an external drive so that I can check it for errors cause its completely dead

So, obviously, I need a new card, but don't I also need Ray to send me my tune file?

Yes, you will need your tune file. This is a good time to remind all to backup your SD card to your computer and save it to a thumb drive or disk.

It only takes a couple of minutes and will save a lot of time and trouble later.

    Outstanding tip.

I will definitely be creating a backup when i get this back online.

Although I guess if he emails me the file I'll have a backup. LOL.

It'd be cool if he sent me an sd card pre-installed. ;-)

When you purchase your new SD card keep in mind there is a maximum capacity the MM3 will accept.

I believe it’s 32GB or less, but I could be wrong.

Also make sure to format with FAT32.

Re: 20002 Error - Reading INVALID SD CARD

I’m just now getting this error on 2 different cards.

They will work for a few days, then I get this error message.

Pretty frustrating, especially with a pillar mount and where the card is on the MM3.
