Well, not sure what’s causing this code but my MM3 is showing a P2509 ECM/PCM Power Input signal intermittent. What does this mean? What will the symptoms be? And how do I fix it?

Google came up with this:
Possible causes
Low battery voltage
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)/Engine Control Module (ECM)
ECM/PCM harness is open or shorted
ECM/PCM circuit poor electrical connection

One thing I might add-we had a severe drop in temperature over the last two days here in east Texas.

No DTC after an hour of running. I had to change fuel filters this morning and it’d been sitting for a couple of days in the cold. On cold batteries I had to let the electric lift pump run through a few cycles and may have drawn enough on the batteries to give that low/intermittent voltage code. I’m speculatin’.

It would not be the first 17 or 18 C&C I have heard with bad batteries. We use ours here at the office at least 3 trips a week, and had a low voltage code once. We are monitoring the voltages and the draw.

I think every ram pickup I’ve owned since 2000 has had one battery go bad within the first year.
