    Re: EGR Less Tune

I was told you dont have to unplug anything, but unplugging the throttle valve connector will lead to more air flow.

    That's what I have done.

    Re: EGR Less Tune

Question I have a 2018 G56 truck that I plan to leave the emissions on for now but is there a way to get a factory tune from say the 68RFE trucks since ours is detuned so much.

Also every tune is based off of the auto trucks to begin with correct so if I were to flash to a stock 68 tune would the factory clutch hold up fine.

Your clutch will start slipping at any tune 60HP or above.

Before you get any tune, start looking for a new clutch.

He is right. You get what you ask Ray for.

When you tune a G56 truck, is is whatever tune you are running the factory detune is invalid at that point as you are now running on Ray's program.

If you were to intend more HP there are 2 weaknesses, depending on how you abuse it and use it.

    1. The clutch, pretty much always an issue with tuning.

    2. The input shaft of the G56.

Not everybody has issues, but when tuned, it does become the next weakest link after the clutch.
