New 4th gen owner in OR.

Got 2016 3500 6.7 that's already deleted with the stock parts in the bed. Manual trans too. after doing some research I see people seem to prefer this. I don't have to pass emissions so can I get some input? IE how does this delete affect maintenance. I drive about 5000 mostly freeway miles a month lightly loaded. I'm running the raceme ultra chip with +30 hp as opposed to the higher settings until I get a feel for the affects it has long term. Anyone?

    Welcome!!

Deleting doesn't really affect normal maintenance items like changing air, oil & fuel filters. It does eliminate servicing the emissions components so that is a plus, especially with how fast you will rack up the miles.

Much thanks, with how little knowledge I have of diesels I knew I had to join a forum and get some input from some of you more seasoned folks. After owning this cummins for about a month I realized I shoulda done this a long time ago. ??

Welcome to the forum. Another bonus being deleted is better fuel mileage, you should expect to gain a few MPG's, I'm averaging 19 +/- MPG city/highway.
