    Hmmm. That sounds like an inexpensive remedy that I can try easily. Great idea! I already ordered the fuel rail pressure sensor. So I will try this and return the part if code clears.
    Thanks

    I know this is an old thread but wondering if cleaning the TIPM has cleared the P0191 code on any other trucks?

    I have been having this issue for 3 1/2 years and have complied an extensive amount of visual data/diagnostics on my truck.

    I have a MM3 so I monitor the rail pressure constantly and have noticed the CEL is triggered when idling and the fuel rail pressure momentarily drops to 4kpa.

    The truck normally idles at 5kpa fuel rail pressure after warmed up.

    Cold start it will sit at 6kpa and then drop down to 5kpa respectively as idle rpm drops down.

    @Rockpile Renegade any updates?

    You didn't resort to tannerite did you?

    C4 possibly?

    Sorry, I’m not sure what tannerite is.

    I was thinking possibly CP4 but will want to rule other things out before spending that kind of coin.
