    Chicken lights!!

I’m going to be adding some led lights to the bottom of the air dam of my truck (13) and down the side eventually. I was wondering if anybody had a link or knew what colors the parking light wires were or have a suggestion on where to hook them up. I’ve tried looking around but can’t seem to find a diagram. I’ve also read about people getting codes Pop up for the circuit overloaded. Thanks.

Might get a add s fuse thing and use it at the parking light fuse in the panel. Not sure if that’s hot all the time though.

Do you want them on all the time or just when the park lights are on?

Just when the parking lights are on or while driving down the road. Don’t want them on all the time and I didn’t want to run a new switch.

Gotcha. I recommend tapping one of the parking lot light wires at the headlight and using that as a trigger to run a relay. Then you can add as many lights as you want without danger of overloading the circuit.

That’s what my original plan was to do it that way. Guess that’s the best way

    Re: Chicken lights!!

Relay would be real easy just use the parking light wire as the hot on the coil. Just need to find that wire.
