    sounds stupid but make sure your batteries have juice, mine wouldn't crank when it was finished because both batteries took a dump while the work was getting done

    I'm not sure on the 4th gens, but it may require 2 signals back to the ECM. You might be able to override it at the starter relay. Dunno. Another reason for owning a 3rd gen. LOL

    No, but I have contemplated swapping my 68RFE for a manual, and finding good information isn't actually easy, and a step by step is a pipe dream.
