    Intake Horn/Manifold

Got some new parts but I really don't expect much of EGT drops or power gains

I'll just install and be happy with it. And start saving for twins.

curious which one is the prefered?
I am leaning towards the BD which the optional air inlet heater as if i delete the grid heater it would be nice (Live in ND)
Is meth injection still a popular thing? as this would have ports for a nozzle, always thought I should of done it to my 2010 with h&s tuner as it would always defuel due to high egt temps.

    vehicle is a 2018 6.7 2500 pick up.

    Thanks
    Pusher intake hands down!

How many miles on your truck?

Just wondering after looking at your grid heater.

My truck pulling hills on regular basis would run high egts 1350 even on flat ground passing I would run that. So I decided to look to lower egt. I put on banks monster horn better inter cooler (mishimoto) and radiator. Bigger turbo, matched and honed 50 over injectors, airdog 165gph fuel pump firepunk built VP44 built trans all billet internals and sun coast torque converter with extra capacity finned pan for cooling. 5" banks monster exhaust turbo back, head ringed and 625 studs. Electric fan on trans cooler. My next step was going to be duel electric fans on radiator to pull more air in. But my computer on side of engin went out. Was given price quote of $ 3000 to $6000 depending upon what it took out if anything other than computer. Oh I had 3.55 gears gearing was some of the issues I know. Wife said no more money,Buy new. I had 300,000 on truck. I still with all that work done could not lower egts in less I just dropped my foot off the accelerator and didnt try to maintain 65mph going up 6 and 7% grades . Most trucks are sold with the 3.42 gears in less you specify you want 4.10, 3.73 you get 3.42 gears if someone else has the answers on lowering egts besides watermeth injection I would be very interested.
Cummings? What is this you speak of?

I went with a pusher knock off from Amazon that was well rated by customers.

I have not had any issues.

What a lot of people here are neglecting to say that with stock plumbing, turbo and grid heater you will notice very little or no changes with any aftermarket air horn.

Mine felt a little smoother according to the butt dyno but no real performance or mpg gains as expected.

The stock air horn is more than sufficient with stock equipment.

If you are looking to get rid of the ugly horn and pretty up the engine bay with everything mostly stock the end result will be the same regardless of which one you choose.

I decided to go the less expensive route.

Best thing is to pick what you like within your budget and be happy with it.

As far as the Banks discussion I agree with those in the know here.

I have too many friends who invested in Banks products that didn't even come close to getting the numbers in the real world as Banks advertising claimed.

If you like their air horn and it fits your budget its your truck and make it what you want.
