Update* issue has not come back. It has been a month since the last time this issue happened. Motorops never contacted me back either.

Glad to hear your trouble hasn't returned. Still strange though... I've never dealt with MotorOps, but you would think they would attempt to return your calls.

I am too, however I'm not surprised they haven't returned a call. Not impressed with the customer service. Need to go with a US company next time I guess

Esp since it started after tuning the truck. I'm not sure what all they change when they tune trucks but ide say he didnt get something right. If I had to guess the map sensor code is coming from the 2579. Could be wrong. But I would do that before replacing any more parts.
I agree. Contact your programmer if everything is in order

I was one of the pioneers in deleting the EGR 11 years ago

I just blew through all this. Eyes are still not back to 100%. This limp mode you describe. Is the EGR disconnected? Does it come. and go? When you have it, can you step on the pedal and it will go then go back to the limp? If so, is the flapper valve unplugged? If not, there's your limp problem. It's not limping, it's trying to Regen on the hidden timer in the ECM software. The flapper is closing and cutting off the Oxygen to the engine.

Stop throwing parts at it. We don't like to waste money here

The truck is completely deleted. The egr is in a box in my garage. The issue has not gone back since I did the CC filter delete, and replaced the MAP with a Chrysler OEM unit. That's not to say that the tune doesn't suck though, because it does.

Still, check that flapper. If it's plugged in, that's my bet. The EGR deletes originated on the 07/08's. A 10 is the same with a different skin. Having been through this a hundred times, trying different things, and coming up with different ideas, some semi successful. It wasn't until someone broke the inscription that software was able to help us.

OK that's not it. The flapper appears to be gone. Oh well. I'd have to see it then. You're a tad far for that.

Get a hold of your programmer. In the mean time, return the truck to stock. drive it a mile or two, Then reprogram. Let's see where that goes.

Well, the trouble hasn't returned since I installed a new OEM MAP. I kept getting a code for it even though I had just recently replaced one. I think that was the culprit as far as the "limp" issue. I couple that with the old batteries, and made a receipe for disaster. Motorops is my tuner, let's say I'm less than happy with the quality of the tune, and they are hell to get in contact with. Time for a new tune, with all the money I dont have.
