So with the recent purchase of my 2000 24v cummins. I wanna look into getting a programmer. I was looking into the edge juice with attitude but my brother wants me to get a smarty. So I'm looking for some feedback from you guys. Mileage gains, power gains? I'm kinda looking for the best of both worlds. All that's done to the truck right now is 4 inch exhaust and a hypertech Econ tune
I'd go smarty. I've sworn by smarty from the performance gains. But I know a lot of people also swear by edge. Smarty was designed strictly for cummins. So idk it's gunna come down to personal preference. This is always a heated debate.

Edge comp box. Best you can get every other cummins besides 24v go smarty or Efi live

I will agree with the edge for the 24v, and if you want to add more stack it with the smarty
but don't add timing on the smarty the edge does that
Smarty doesn't do much on VP trucks, go edge

And I'm a huge fan of my smarty cause I have a cr. my buddy had a vp truck and smarty didn't do alot he's truck actually ran really well with a quadzilla adrenaline you can get custom tunes and upgraded tunes for free online too he put down 600hp with a small set if twins and supporting mods but stock injection pumpOriginally Posted by chrisd91
