When deleting on '13 and newer...

Quick question when deleting egr/DPF on '13 and newer models is getting the EGT probe a must or just a recommendation? I don't know if all tuners or kits come with it or just the Smarty MM3 with Warp Delete tune comes with it. I think I have seen it with more than just Smarty so asking for clarification purposes. Can it be added later or does it need to be done at the beginning.

I have one on mine and it gives me a piece of mind especially when towing. Always good to know your truck parameters. Not hard to install especially if you are going EGRless. I say yes put one in. Most Tuners offer you this when you make the purchase of a MM3 ect. At least mine did? I think it was a just over $100.00.

To me it should always be part of the kit. If you literally don't ever get on the throttle hard, pass people hard and just drive it normally. then you could get by without one but to me it would eat me alive not knowing what they were LOL.

I have 2 that I can't use. One for an Edge monitor and one for my Black Maxx. Too bad there's not an adapter plug for my MM3.
